ProComSol – Now in Our 15th Year of Business

At ProComSol, we’re now in our fifteenth year of business supplying reliable HART communication products for diverse companies. To commemorate this fact, we thought we’d compile a list of major milestones for ProComSol.

Let’s take a look at some key moments, with a number of them being industry firsts!

ProComSol Timeline

• 2005 – We release the HM-BT-BAT HART Modem, which is the first Bluetooth HART modem in the world. This product helps provide access to hard-to-reach instrumentation, improves personnel safety, and allows you to declutter your workspace.

• 2006 – Our DevCom2000 is released, which becomes the first SDC-625 based HART communicator in the world. This software allows for complete HART device configurations from a laptop, lets you view and edit device variables, and works with any HART modem, along with many other features.

• 2009-2010 – We add a device cloning feature, along with support for HART 7 and WirelessHART, to our popular DevCom2000 software to further enhance its functionality for our customers.

• 2012 – Our HM-RS232, RS232 HART modem is released, which is registered with the HART Foundation. With its rugged design, custom cable lengths, and more, this device offers a range of benefits to customers’ operations.

• 2015 – We release our DevComDroid, the first DD-based HART communicator for Android in the world. With HART 7 and WirelessHART support, cloning capabilities, an easily navigable structure, and more, this App offers a host of advantages for companies.

• 2017 – We release our iOS, the first DD-based HART communicator for iOS (Apple) products in the world. With iPhone and iPad functionality, HART 7 and WirelessHART support, no tag limits, and more, this App is ideal for companies utilizing iOS systems.

• 2018 – Our DevCom Apps get updated with the CalCheck feature, allowing users to easily document device calibration performance, showing once again ProComSol’s dedication to product development.
