ProComSol, Ltd is a leader in the design and manufacturing of advanced, cost-effective, and reliable HART and Foundation Fieldbus (FF) communication products for the Process Control marketplace. We are dedicated to providing the most affordable and innovative HART and FF products in the market, helping our customers to connect, configure, and document their essential operations.

With our DevCom Smart Device Communicator Software and a HART modem, you can use your PC, tablet, or smartphone as a full featured HART communicator.

Our DevCom Smart Device Communicator is a full-featured HART Communicator that offers many advantages over hand held communicators: ease of updating, ease of use, multi-function capability, ability to document and manage device configurations, and most importantly – significant cost savings - a fraction of the cost of the dinosaur communicators on the market.

DevCom mobile Apps are available for Windows, Android and iOS. They are feature rich, stable, and reliable.  Learn more from our white paper.
ProComSol, Ltd announced the winner of the 2021 ProComSol Instrumentation Scholarship Program.  This year’s winner is Jaxon Few of Oklahoma.  We wish Jaxon success in his Instrumentation studies and with his future career in the process industry.

Jaxon grew up in a small town in southeastern Oklahoma. He was raised on a small cattle ranch where his family still raises and sells cattle. In high school he participated in sports and FFA (Future Farmers of America).  He is currently enrolled in the Instrumentation program at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology and looks forward to a rewarding career in instrumentation.

ProComSol intends to continue and grow this program to make awards every semester.  Hopefully both students and education administrators will take advantage of this program.

CalCheck PDF Report with Electronic Signature!
We recently updated our DevCom family of Apps/Software to include the ability to save Calibration Checks as PDF files.  Also in this update was the addition of Electronic Signatures to the CalCheck report.  Sample Report.

The CalCheck feature allows DevCom, in conjunction with a calibration reference, to become a Documenting Calibrator.  The user can perform an As Found CalCheck, then perform any trims, and then do final As Left CalCheck.  All using the same tool.  Reports can be signed, saved, and imported into your calibration documentation system.  No need for multiple tools or expensive documenting calibrators.

Here is a Feature Spotlight that explains the CalCheck process in more detail.  CalCheck Feature Spotlight
HART Communicator Device Configuration Import
In order to help users migrate to the more advanced and modern DevCom platform, users still need to access their device configuration data saved in their old communicators.  You can now import saved configurations using the Import Configuration feature.  From DevCom2000, go to the Device menu and select Document Device.  Then click Import Configuration.  Click on the .hcf file of interest and it will be imported into DevCom2000.  It will create a PDF file, csv text file, and .dc file just as if you were connected to the device using DevCom2000.  Once imported, you can view the files, and even download the configuration to a new HART device.  Again, just like the file was created from DevCom2000.

Let us know of other features that will make migrating easier for you.  support@procomsol.com
